Following the excellent reception of its launch on Steam on 9 December, DevilishGames and Making Enemies are pleased to announce that Scholar Adventure: Mystery of Silence will also be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, as well as on iOS and Android mobile devices, during the first half of 2026.
In this first installment of the Scholar Adventure saga, we follow William, a young writer in search of inspiration for his first work. His journey takes him to an isolated abbey whose monks have taken a vow of silence. What begins as a simple literary quest, soon turns into a disturbing mystery: hidden within the monastery’s walls lies a secret that should never have been revealed.
Developed with PowerQuest, the tool behind recent hits such as The Drifter, and inspired by 1990s graphic adventures, Mystery of Silence combines dark, detailed pixel art with a narrative laced with dark humor. Players will explore environments shrouded in mystery, solve clever puzzles, and use items to uncover the secrets the abbey hides.
With an approximate playtime of 2 to 3 hours, the game delivers a direct, intense, and carefully crafted experience that will keep players engaged until its final secret is revealed. The console and mobile versions represent a strong commitment by DevilishGames and Making Enemies to bring this first entry in the Scholar Adventure saga to a wider audience, laying the groundwork for the development of new and future adventures within the series’ universe.
